Bus Rider

A most interesting character on the bus this morning gave me the most interesting advice. With the rain pouring down in Vancouver's January monsoon, the man told me, in a rumbling deep monotone voice: "Try not to rust out there". Then he was getting off at Sasamat and I was left to contemplate.

"Try not to rust out there".

I think it's profound, underneath its seeming irrationalness. What's most profound is that it fits perfectly with my current resolutions. Don't succumb to the corrosive elements of city life, student life. Amongst other things.
